The poem below reflects my thoughts on The Holy Bible – Psalm 49: 4-9 and Matt 24: 37-44.

On One Thief I Wait
Why should I tremble as darkness falls
when thieves of worldly riches strike?
That I should be unburdened would be a blessing
for they cannot take my Light.
But I dare not slumber as night draws near
for on One Thief I wait with hope
that I might be a treasure worth retrieving
before the rage of Satan‘s reign bursts forth.
Catch me not napping when He tiptoes in
to steal the ready and the waiting,
the righteous and sinners forgiven both.
Good Thief, do not steal Yourself from me.
Gripped by this fear of losing Your love
I will rage, rage against the dying of the light.*
As long as I’m awake, there is no night.
For on One Thief I wait and will not slumber.

Great blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas? Bless you! -a.k.a. Susan Lindsay

WordPress offers both free and paid options. I’ve been very satisfied. If I had the time to put into promoting my blog more or if it were associated with a product or service, I’d go for the paid option to get my own domain name especially. As for writing tips, recognize your limits and live within them. Consistency is more important than quantity of output.

Incredible! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a completely different topic but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors! -a.k.a. Marie C.

WordPress has a nice selection of customizable themes. I created and tiled the image in the background.

Sorry this is not posted in right place. Thanks a bunch for the different tips I have realized from your website.
One tip I would say is, try to get most of your online degree classes on the weekends and only a few courses on weekdays, even if it means a little time away from your end of the week. This pays off because on days and nights you work, the majority of people are drained when they go back home. On Saturdays and Sundays, you will be more rested to concentrate on school work.
